Education and Wellbeing Service at Heathmere

We are pleased to have the support of the Education Wellbeing Service at Heathmere. This is an NHS team of Mental health and Wellbeing professionals who work closely with both our staff and our families.

They offer

  • Workshops and webinars on wellbeing and parenting
  • Coffee mornings
  • Signposting to appropriate services
  • 1:1 support for parents

Parenting can have its ups and downs, and sometimes children need a little extra help finding their feet. The Education Wellbeing Service offers a 'helping hand' through parent-led support, focusing on practical ways to manage:

  • Tricky behaviours and big feelings at home.
  • Worries and fears that might be holding them back.
  • The 'wobbles' that come with growing up and school transitions.

By working together with parents, the Education Wellbeing Service ensures that support starts early in a way that feels manageable for the whole family.

If you'd like to find out more, please reach out to our Family Liaison Officer Zarah Argel. You can also contact us directly by filling in an application form via the link below:

Once we have received the form, and we think that this is the right service for you, we will notify your child’s school that a form has been filled and arrange a time to meet. However, Please note, if you are already getting support elsewhere through CAMHS, social care, or waiting for another mental health intervention we may not be able to support you.
